The Polish city of Gdynia hosted from July 26 to August 3 in the 29th class World Championship. A meeting, in which 175 regatists from all over the world were appointed, had the main and outstanding novelty of the classification of women separately, one of their own. Spain reintroduced its best bazas, with a total of 9 ships, 18 regatists.

This new system of classification, with a general for women, left us a magnificent result of our girls Alicia Fras and María González, concluding in a brilliant fifth square, highlighting in their locker, as a better partial, a seventh place achieved in the test 6. The Catalan women closed their participation in the 37 of the general of the gold group with 195 points. The Swedish Martina Carlsson and Amanda Ljunggren were made with the title, 24 of the absolute general with 150 points.

As for the boys the best qualified were the canaries Yoel Hernández and Paula Barrio, (mixed crew rooms) closing their participation in the 19th place. His best numbers were two tenths on. The Valencian tandem formed by 'Quicorras' Urios and Filippo Binetti also a good performance in that gold group, with a work 22nd square.
