According to ANEN the registration of recreational ships grow more than 10 points from January to July

Of the total number of vessels registered in this period, 1,320 are intended for nautical charter (rental). This market is growing again by 3.77% in the energy-July period, with a particularly positive result in July (33.66%).
The market for recreational craft continues to grow and to reach a growth of 10.5% until July. The month of July has been particularly positive, with an increase in enrolment of 26.3% over the same month of 2018. In Spain, 4,621 recreational boats were registered between January and July, compared with 4,182 in the same period last year.
In terms of length, the growth of the segment between 8 and 12 meters, 59% (369 enrolments), also increase the segment up to 6 meters (+ 10.2%), which enrol 3,201 ships compared to the 2,905 registered in the same period last year, and the length between 6 and 8 meters (+ 2.5%) that have 867 enrolments. The segment between 12 and 16 meters and the length of 16 meters, fall by -4.1 & and -16.7% respectively.
By type of boats, again highlights the growth of registration of sailboats (45%) in this period with 303 records, also increase the motorcycles of water (11.9%), with 1,303 registrations, the motor ships improve the result of the previous period and record a growth of 9.1%, with 1,971 registrations.
The folding pneumatic vessels also continue to be positive and grow by 24.3%, with 440 enrollments. Semi-rigid pneumatic vessels remain negative, though with a lower fall than in the previous period (-6.9%).
The rental market returns to the path of growth and reaches an increase of 3.77% in the accumulated year, especially the growth it experiences in July that it reaches 33.7% compared to the same month of 2018.
Catalonia is at the head of the nautical market followed by the Balearic Islands and Andalusia. Catalonia with a share of 19.87% is in the first position on the nautical market, and it grows by 9.7% in enrolments in the accumulated year. The second position is the Balearic Islands, which represents 19.54% of the nautical market in the period under review and is growing by 6.6% in number of enrolments.
Andalusia, with 19.1% of the market, occupies the third position and is the autonomous community that grows most in enrolment (19%).
The rental market is also led by Catalonia (24.55%) followed by the Balearic Islands which represent 24.09% of this market, and the Valencia Community, with a share of 18.63%.
