"Yess Too" of Portuguese Rui Ramada is made with the Count of Gondomar-GP Banco de Sabadell
"Yess Too" armed by the Lusian Rui Ramada of Mount Real Club of Yates of Baiona, has proclaimed itself the absolute winner of the forty-fourth edition of the Trophy Count of Gondomar- Grand Prix Banco de Sabadell, which was concluded yesterday in Galician waters, by the club of the Villa de la Carabela La Pinta.
"Oils Abril" despite his victory in the "half-distance race" held on Saturday, he was unable to renew his triumph... being in third place, being also overcome by the "Pairo 8" by José Luis Freire, who has achieved the classification for the National Cruise... which was the best of the closing act in the Vigo Ria.
In the class of the Count of Gondomar without participating in the "race of height to Finisterre..." the Balea Dous de Luis Pérez, of the Royal Nautical Club of Rodeira, was the best, followed by "La Bella Negra" by Juan José Martínez, the Nautical Club Castrelo de Miño; and the "Unus" by Luis García Trigo, with grympola of the Monte Real Club de Yates.

"Oils Abril" armed by Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal of the fleet of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, was imposed in the "middle race" of the Trophy Conde de Gondomar-GP Banco de Sabadell, which has organized since 1976 the Monte Real Club of Yates of Baiona... so this year is the 44th birthday.
By the persistent fog, it was decided to vary the "classic 9" between the Cis and Ons islands, it was chosen by a route of only 25 miles inside the river of Vigo. Regardless of the excellent level of the three "living" ships in the "Conde," the classic Monte Real is only being a thing of three ships, which is undermining the quality and pronunciation of other editions. The first assault was for Rui Ramada with his precious Swan... the second act for the Pérez Canal... on the closing day the word will be "pairos."
The different categories of this Count of Gondomar are as they follow... even though those who are "Conde-Conde" are only those of the so-called "Storax Class," the others participate in a different race, with different paths... at least in the initial day, which is at the end of the day that "makes the Count different":

26 / 07 / 2019: The "Count" is the thing of three: "Yess Too," "Pairo 8" and "Oils Abril" after the high race
The Swan 45 "Yess Too," by Portuguese shipowner and patron Rui Ramada, was the winner of the rise to the Carrumeiro Chico, the long stage of the 44 Conde de de Gondomar - GP Banco Sabadell, which after more than 24 hours of trial, ended this morning at the facilities of Mount Real Club de Yates de Baiona.
The lush sailboat, which sailed the Mount Real Club of Yates, was raised with the victory of the challenge after completing the 95.43 miles of a round-trip between Baiona and the Carrumeiro Chico in 17-36-00... after a race in which the struggle focused on "Yess Too," "Oils Abril" by Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal and the "Pairo 8" that José Luis Freire makes and has Luis Bugallo.
The time-offset order was "Yess Too," "Pairo 8" and "Oils April..." the other two ships that went up to Finisterre chose to withdraw: the "Bon III" of Victor Carrión and the legendary "Alcaravan III..." apparently for various failures. Now the "Conde" is subtracted by the half-distance race Cies-Ons and the technical route barlovento-sotavento.
Thus, it remains intact one year later the record of the test of the Regata Jesús Valverde (the high race of the Trophy Conde de Gondomar), which has held since 2011 the "Cenor & De Dietrich," a Farr 50 of the Royal Club of Regatas de Galicia, who managed to place his name in the history of the Conde de Gondomar when he completed the race in 11 hours 56 minutes and 57 seconds... the Arousan crew, led by that great snitch that is Martín Bermudez de la Puente, was reborn in that year more than 30 minutes in the year of the summer that year.
25 / 07 / 2019: "Yess Too" of the Luitan Rui Ramada the first to reach the Carrumeiro in the "Count"
"Yess Too" of the Portuguese Rui Ramada, has been the first ship to turn to the edge of the seven o'clock of the afternoon of the Thursday of the day of Galicia, the lighthouse of the Carrumeiro Chico in the middle of Corcubion, which marks the equator of the Trophy Count of Gondomar-GP Banco de Sabadell, that organizes the Monte Real Club of Yates de Baiona.
At the moment, the Lusian ship is being pursued by Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal's "Oils Abril" and the "Pairo" with Luis Bugallo to the cane... who are fighting to overcome the "Yess Too" in the compensation of times... another who is also in the fight is the "Bon III" of Victor Carrión.
On the other hand, the "mini Conde" is being held in parallel to the classic race of Mount Real, the "mini Conde," which is very different from that of "truth," in which the smaller ships are competing, as well as the J80 monotypes and the school ships of the Club de Baiona: the Figaró, of which we offer their peculiar classifications:

23 / 07 / 2019: "Oils April" will try to achieve its fifth Gondomar, which begins the day after tomorrow in Baiona
The big day of Galicia will again be marked, one more year, by one of the most important nautical dates of the year, the Count of Gondomar of Mount Real Club of Yates of Baiona, which remains true to the celebration of one of its most historic races, making it coincide with the festivity of Santiago.
It will be the forty-fourth edition of the competition, which once again has the Grand Prix Banco Sabadell... for four days, the best crews of the peninsular Atlantic will meet on the Galician coast to measure their forces in a test program that includes short and long-run coastal routes and long-distance barlovent tests.
The most noted test will be the rise from Baiona to Carrumeiro Chico, in the Engenada of Corcubión... the legendary Regata Jesús Valverde that with its almost 100 miles of tour will decide the Spanish Championship of Height of the Galicia Zone... this will be on the 25th and surely part of the 26th... by Saturday the 27th the second test with a route of about 32 miles turning to the archipelago of Ons; and the most technical tests, of the type barlovento sotavento, are reserved for the last day, on Sunday 28, in the fondeadero of the islands.
One of the ships that has already confirmed their participation is the Oils Abril, of the brothers Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal, winner of the previous edition. The crew will try to enter the history of the race by achieving their fifth victory - the fourth consecutive - after those obtained in 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
If the long-awaited triumph were to be repeated, the April Oil would be able to overcome in number of victories two historic ships of the race: the Ardora de Paz Andrade and the Castrosúa led by Willy Alonso, both with four laurels of the Count in their existence.
He would still be ahead of the historic winner of the José Luis Freire Pairo trophy, the most successful ship in the competition, with a total of 6 wins (in 1983, 1984, 1988, 2003, 2007 and 2009). In 2018, those of Freire were again escaped by the podium at the hands of the April Oils, but they managed to get the title of Spanish Champions of Height of the Galicia Zone.
