The Nautic of Vigo will organize in 2021 the World Cup of Vaien

Vigo will definitely host the 60th edition of the Vaien World Championship in 2021... competition that had never been held in the Galician city, despite having the most powerful fleet worldwide... only a Junior World Championship in 1988 has lived the Ria de Vigo, throughout history. Important organizational challenge for the Royal Viguese Nautical Club.

On the other hand the 2019 World Class begins, with a wide Spanish representation... with Pablo Cabello, the absolute champion of the class in 2017, and Mario Pérez of the Royal Nautico Club and Vigo return to the battle, this time in the Italian town of Colico, where 85 ships from twelve countries and three continents will participate, who will seek the triumph in the Lake di Como from tomorrow Tuesday.

With them, the Nautico de Vigo presents its best female regatists, the sisters Paloma and Paula González, current world champions of their category, and Laura Llópésica, the female tetracampeone and that in Travemunde 2018 was absolute world subchampion with Tone Pérez and gold in mixed category.

The three compete on different ships with the Italian Francesca Magherini, Miriam Ríos (RCN Vigo) and the Dutch Angela Brandsma, respectively. The Spanish fleet is closed with two ships of the Maritime of Canido (that of the world tricampoons júnior Tirso Cerqueira and Gonzalo Martínez and that of Pedro Salgado and Jorge Cigarrán) and one of the Club de Vela as Pontes (Javier Martínez and Teresa Cabello).
