The regatist of El Balís has been imposed on the female general of the championship disputed in the Danish town of Faaborg

The Spanish regatist Mónica Veenhoven, of Club Nàutic El Balís, has proclaimed itself the champion of Europe's youth Europe, held in Danish waters, in Faaborg.

In addition, two club companions from Veenhoven have been ranked in top 10 positions: Nora Lasurt has finished in sixth place, and has been third in Sub 18, and Helena Pruñonosa has been ranked in tenth position.

The competition has developed over five days and a total of 9 sleeves have been held. Mónica Veenhoven has led the female classification since the first day and has won the victory with a 13-point advantage over the Danish Marie-Louise Harboe, second classified. The Spanish partials have been 4 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 6 + 5 + 18 + 1 + 4.

In the male category, the best Spanish representative has been Alex Collins of the Club de Vela Palamos, who has ended up in place 12 of the general. For his part, Joan Freixa has been fourteenth and Marc Arrufat was eighteenth, both of the quarry of the Nàutic Club El Balàs.
