The menorcan regatist has repeated the silver medal obtained at the 2018 Finn Silver Cup

The Menorcan regatists Joan Cardona of the Real Club Náutico de Palma, has today proclaimed himself as the champion of the young world of the Finn class. The competition has been held in Anzio, Italy, between Tuesday 16 and Saturday 20 July. Cardona adds this pallet medal in the youth world to the title of European champion Sub 23 of Finn that he won in mid-May in Athens.

In the Finn Silver Cup, which is as is known to the World Cup Sub 23 of this class, in addition to Cardona, second in the general classification, the Alicantino Andrés Lloret (CN Campello) has also participated, who has ended up in the 25th place.

Cardona began the competition with very good results: in the first five sleeves he added up two first and two seconds although he was also penalized with a DSQ that committed him to the rest of the championship. After 11 tests completed and five days of competition, the numbers of the menorcan regatist have been 2 + DSQ + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 + 2 + 11 + 19 + 5 + 3.
