El "Pez de Abril" aguantó la presión y relegó a "El Carmen" a la segunda plaza del Tabarca

The "Pez de Abril" held up the pressure and relegated "El Carmen" to the second square of the Tembra

The Tenca Tenca Trocket is closed with a second place for El Carmen-Elite Sails and with the title given by the municipality of Alicante to the winner of the return to the island of Tenca, held on the second day. By not getting the number of registered in ORC 1 set out in the regulation, the fleet has been integrated with the ORC 2, to which belongs the Coello Synergy 40, thus forming a single group: ORC 1-2.

This situation has left the cartagJanuary without the title he has won in his group, as the RCR Cartagena ship has ended in the second square tied with the April Pez (CN Portmán) bat of José María Meseguer, both with 7.5 points. The partial triumph in the last test of the Swan 42 of Portmán has decanted in his favor the balance and be able to take it away. The card, in the last test, has concluded second.

Today's third and last day has been developed under good general wind conditions that have made it possible to complete two tests. In the first of them it has managed to finish third, while Pez de Abril and the Valencian Brujo (RCN Valencia) signed a tie by distributing the points with 1.50 each. That fact was to be decisive for the end of the Tembra trophy, in addition to the results produced in the last test.

Very equal has been the fourth and last test in Alicante. After obtaining the compensated times, the Swan 42 of Meseguer was going to take the first place and the Synergy 40 of Coello with the second. Numbers that were going to leave them both with the same score in general ORC 1-2, while bronze is for the Valencian Wizard that adds up to 10 points.

13 / 07 / 2019: "El Carmen Elite Sails" wins the turn to Tabarca and dominates in the Diputación de Alicante de Vela

La segunda jornada ha estado marcada por las pésimas condiciones de viento, con un aplazamiento de cerca de dos horas y con el recorrido acortado, con la llegada en la isla en lugar de su ubicación habitual en las cercanías del club

The second day has been marked by the very bad wind conditions, with a delay of about two hours and with the short tour, with the arrival on the island instead of its usual location in the vicinity of the club

The Carmen Elite Sails, by José Coello, under the grympola of the centenary Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena has taken a giant step to get with the Tenca Trophy Vela Diputación de Alicante by winning in the coastal race to the island of Tenca. A second day which has been marked by the very bad wind conditions, with almost 2 hours behind schedule at 11.30 a.m. and taking place at 1.18 p.m.

That little wind has also forced the race committee to make a difficult decision as the test that marks a before and a later on the Sicantine quote was at stake on the table. The first decision was to annul the first planned test with a barlovento-sotavento stick of 2 dyed and 2 sopas and from there set the course to the island, instead and after the exit and take the beacon of dismarking the fleet has set way to Tabarca.

The second and most important, in view of the lack of wind in almost the entire stretch, has been to shorten the route on the beacon 2 on the island so the fleet has finally completed a journey of 12.4 miles instead of the almost 25 that were established.

A very complicated race for all, although Synergy 40 has been able to work and exploit the ship to the maximum in these difficult conditions to be located in 'comfortable' positions in the fleet's head group that after the dismantling beacon has stretched a lot. After obtaining the compensated times El Carmen has been made with the partial triumph, second in Alicante and it gives a slight and small advantage to face the third and last day with 2 barlovento-sotavento tests.

The cartagJanuary is 2.5 points by 5 that currently holds the Bat Pez de Abril (CN Portmán), second on the return to the island, and 5.5 that has the Valencian Brujo (RCN Valencia) that has signed a fourth place today. The third square on the coast to Tocarca has been for the Alteano Guaguanco II (CN Altea).

The Tcovered Trophy Vela Diputación de Alicante closes the first day and does so with a single completed test. The ORC 1 fleet, by not completing the number of ships to form class, are integrated into the ORC 2 fleet, so there will be only one classification with the two classes.

The wind forecast has been met in Alicante and those 7 knots of the 100º have allowed to close the day with a test. Good exit from the cartagJanuary, on the two, as on the first there was a general call. On both the Coello ship chose the choice of the center of the line to search the left side of the race field.

Synergy 40 has had to fight with the great, mainly the Swan and in particular the 45 Brujo (RCN of Valencia) and the 42 of Portmán, the Fish of April. As for the ships that are part of the group of El Carmen, ORC 2, the domain of the cartagJanuary has been absolute and that has allowed it to win in real time with almost 4 minutes on the second, the Torrevieja (RCN Torrevieja), with a Rodman 42.

After obtaining the compensated times, the Coello ship scored its first partial victory in Alicante. At the same time, ORC 1 Witch did the same. This double triumph allowed the two fleets to complete the day with 1.5 points. In this joint general, the April Fish Bat is third, provisionally, while Avis (RCN Castellón) a Sly 47 in ORC 1, is fourth and the Maverta, in ORC 2, is fifth.

Tomorrow Saturday the second day of the 'Tembra' is disputed with the emblematic coastal regatta to the island of Tembra, with double score and which is usually determined to define to some extent the podium posts in the alicantine citation.
