Point and end for the Puig de Vela Classica in Barcelona that goes to more every edition

The legends of the sea are fired one more year from one of the most legendary classical sailing circuits in the Mediterranean
The tenth edition Puig Vela Classica was closed, with victories in its categories "Guia," "Argos," "Marigan," "Fjord III" and "Moonbeam of Fife..." and the participation of 500 regatists and 44 ships of nine different nationalities have competed since Thursday for one of the most prestigious trophies in the Mediterranean.
With 6 miles ahead, the exit of the Classics 1 already showed that there was much at stake, when the Outlaw attacked and the Guide defended itself, in an attempt to penalize him and try to rinse the difference of points with which the decisive test began. Without any major problems, the leader Guia did not fall into the trap, successfully overcome the harassment and marked his rival throughout the course.
More calm things in the Classics 2, since the provisional leader Argos had enough advantage to avoid surprises. I just had to avoid mistakes, and he did, achieving his third partial victory and prove to be the best ship / rating / crew set. Today he was supported by Madifra 2, who tried to take the second final position from Ojala II, who fourth of the day has defended the second step of the final podium.
In the time of Bermuda, the two leaders, Cippino and Fjord II, have been disunderstood from the rest of the fleet, looking at the exit and sailing alone the first girdle on the left side, reaching the first beacon the Uruguayan ship and leaving the Argentine Cippino very unhung. So much, he added a sixth to his partial locker by a third of Fjord II, which allowed him to win the general.
But the most technical and beautiful way out was that of Epoco Craja, where the Marigold, Marigan and Veronique started the day tied to points on the provisional. The Marigan has given a tactical lesson, when despite its smaller size it has managed to get the Veronique out of line, which has lost a few valuable seconds to rectify its advance.
The Moombean of Fife has confirmed the leadership in the Big Boats fleet, today achieving its third partial win against the Hallowen for only 1: 24 minutes, while the Black Swan ended up third very late. The same order in the final podium of this category, which continues to contribute its majesty and impressive slurs to the Puig Vela Classica.

The second day of the XII Puig Vela Classica regatta also started on time at one in the afternoon, in a race field that today presented a different stage. The wind was blowing again from Garby, but today the thermal effect was less than yesterday and has not blown so generously.
The majestic Big Boats have offered an interesting way out between Halloween and the Moonbeam of Fife, reaching the first port-ridden to the beacon of the viewfinder and while his rival was running the line to starboard. The situation well planned by both, but which has given an initial advantage to Halloween, when the Moonbeam was turning to cover it without success, by being able to escape by sotavento thanks to its major start.
From there, Halloween has been able to stay ahead for the whole test, thanks in part to the smoother wind conditions improving its performance towards the Moonbeam. However, despite the completion of the test with five minutes of advantage, in the compensation of times it has been nine seconds short to achieve victory. With its two accumulated victories, the Moonbeam of Fife has practically secured the final triumph... the Outlaw, while the Yanira (5-2) with 7 points, the Disparate (4-4) with 8, the Emeraude (3-7) with 10 and the Samarkand (6-5) with 11morning will fight to rise to the podium.
The Argos has re-imposed their law on Classics 2, winning again with a wide margin over Wishing II and Altamar. In addition, Barbara Trilling's ship confirms the first place in the general, with two points on the "Woe II," while the "Madrifa" with 8 points, "Altamar 9" and "Margarita" with 9 will have an intense duel tomorrow to win the third final step of this category.
A lot of regularity in the fleet of the Bermuda Epoch, where the first five have repeated their classification yesterday. By adding both partials, he leads the Cippino with 2 points, followed by the Flower III with 4, the Argyll with 6, the Mercury with 8 and the Emilia Prima with 10. On the contrary, the maximum alternation of results between the Crab Epoch, with today's victory of the Marigan which also allows it to assume the leadership of the general with the same 4 points that the Marigold and the Veronique, promising tomorrow an intense duel to lead the winner.

The Puig Vela Classica race, one of the main references of the classic sailing and the Mediterranean era, has started in the waters of the Real Club Nautico of Barcelona, with more than 500 regatists on 44 classic and old ships, have participated in one of the most beautiful marine shows of the international nautical.
The suspension in the competing category Classics 1 began after the departure, when the favorites Guia and the Emeraude advanced to the shot and had to return to start again, starting that maneuver a little late and accumulating a considerable delay.
But this initial setback has served to acitate them, starting a rebound that has allowed them to star in the test. Thus, the Emeraude crossed the goal first and was ranked third after the compensation of times, while the Guide was second on arrival but achieved victory after the correction of the handicaps. Between them, in second position, the Outlaw was broken.
In the fleet of Classics 2 the Argos has had no rival, dominating the final classification with almost 6 minutes of advantage over the Woe II and already more than 13 minutes with the Madrifa.
As if a match race were in Bermuda, the Argentine Cippino and the Uruguayan Fjord have been marked and controlled without a truce over the almost three hours they have invested in completing the tour. Separated from the goal for 17 seconds, the Cippino increased the chronus to 33 seconds after compensating the times. The third step of the podium has been for the Argyll.
The ships of Epoch, but with Crab, have also had the Marigold as the winner of the day after containing the Veronique with a minute and a half of advantage, while the Marigan was ranked third.
The four Big Boats participating in the XII Puig Vela Classic regatta have had a clear dominator in the Moonbeam of Fife, who has been able to take advantage of today's strong wind to impose on Halloween with rotunity, while the Black Swan and Nordwind did not complete this first test. Classifications at the end of the opening day.
