Enrique G. Curt will receive next Saturday the Nautical Communication Award that has been awarded annually since 2018 by the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia... this award recognizes the journalistic work related to sailing and nautical in general, covering a wide spectrum of media and support.

The 2019 Nautical Communication Award has been unanimously awarded to journalist, editor, promoter of nautical events and ocean navigator Enrique Curt, founder of specialized journals such as Skipper, with 44 years of continuous dissemination, and editor of others such as Regata, as well as 12 publications on various current issues. His work as a specialist journalist has marked the evolution of the cruise fleet in our country, and he is now still leading Curt Editions and Nautical Dissemination, with new challenges and planning events with passion and enthusiasm. Curt was also a promoter and winner of the Sailing King's Cup, in which he developed the work of press chief for 25 years. As a regatist, his concerns have led him over the years to participate in the Mare Nostrum of the time, the Transmed, the Two Hostal, the Parmelia Race, the Route of Discovery, the Grand Prix of the Atlantic, the Turn to Spain or the Thousand Mile. In addition, he may have been the first Spanish to participate in La Solitaire du Figaro, sailing alone in the waters of the Mancha Canal and Ireland.
