For Manolo Seoane begins a new era for the Galician heavy candle

The most important factor for the operation of Mar de Maeloc, is the support for the sustainability of the marine environment... in all the development of the races has been bet on the recycled materials... the T-shirts with which the participants are made from cotton from "used clothing and manufacturing cuts," as well as from plastic bottles... the materials used from the stationery to the flags of the ships have been made from recyclable materials. Ecoembes and Ecoglass will install in several ports of Mar de Maeloc, their system of selective collection of waste.

In the Rías Altas Regata, the Breogán Group, through its represented Porsche, will be the one to provide the official vehicle. A clear exponent of the bet of Mar de Maeloc... in the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña, will be exposed a "Panamera 4E-Hybrid Sport Turismo" of 462 cv / 340 kW... a vehicle of the immediate future.

During the discussions of the constitution of Mar de Maeloc, the opinion of prominent personalities of the Spanish candle was sought, which was very positive in all cases: the vice president of the Real Federación Española de Vela, Chimo González Devesa; the president of the Real Federación Galician Manuel Villaverde; or the regatist laureates such as the Javier de la Gandara, the Vizcino Unai Basurko, the Lucense Gonzalo Araújo, the orensano Luis Pérez Canal or the herculino Bermudez de Castro; or the journalists of the national elite, as well as the national news of the... have received a few examples of the national...

This widespread support for Mar de Maeloc, is given because in the opinion of the whole sector, it has been seen at the birth of the project, a breath of fresh wind within the Riding of Cruises, which will benefit the regatists in general.

By provoking among other support, the presence of sponsors who decide to promote race teams participating in the macro event Mar de Maeloc, for its projection and transcendence.
The old aspiration of Atlantic regatists and cruises is already a reality through Mar de Maeloc... the agreement is committed, for the seasons 2019, 2020 and 2021. The initial period may be increased in the light of possible successes.

The objective is to be a national and international reference point, with special attention to the entire Atlantic Arc in the medium term, both from a sports point of view... and from the promotion of nautical tourism, for which the Galaica coast has exceptional conditions.
