The great national surfing party starts its countdown for the start of the competition... The A Frouxeira Beach in Valdoviño is preparing to receive the best national surfers in the Spanish Championship of Surfing 2019.

A total of 12 national titles in play that include the 11 individual categories and the competition for autonomic selections... this weekend will be held individual titles in the Open (male and female), Master and Kneeboard categories.

The current Spanish champion and recent winner of the Iberdrola League contest in Pantín, Andy Criere is one of the men's favorites. Along with the gipuzcoan, surfers of the size of Gony Zubizareta, Vicente Romero, Luís Díaz, Gonzalo Gutierrez, Jatyr Beraluce and promises like Iker Amatriaín, Yael Peña, Diego Suárez or Moses Dominguez will delight the attendees next weekend to the beach of A Frouxeira.

In the female category, with the current champion Garazi Sánchez ending her recovery, the list of favorites to the title is extended. The Vizcaine Leti Canales arrives in a great state of shape and leading the classification of the Iberdrola League after a spectacular season start.

Ariane Ochoa, champion in the 2016 edition, returns to the Spanish championship with great desire and in a good shape. The promises Melania Suarez, Lucia Machado, Janire González, Mikele Beato or Julia González are also very prepared to assault the absolute title.
