Alinghi Proclaims GC32 World Champion

The Alinghi of Ernesto Bertarelli has proclaimed the world champion 2019 of class GC32... the Swiss was the best of the fleet of ten teams of eight nationalities that competed for GC32 World Championship in the Portuguese town of Lagos, and confirmed its victory in the absence of two sleeves to complete the competition program in Lagos,

The second act of the GC32 Circuit brought together in Portuguese waters ten squads of eight nationalities that competed for four intense days... that were decided to 18 sleeves between Alinghi (SUI), Argo (USA), Black Star Sailing Team (SUI), CHINAone NINGBO (CHN), INEOS Rebels UK (GBR), NORAUTO (FRA), Team Oman Air (OMA), Red Bull Sailing Team (AUT), Zoulou (FRA) and the world champion (SUI Team, 2018).

After three days of naval battle on the Lagos coast, Alinghi reached the last day of competition with an income of 16 points at the head of the provisional... the champion of the Extreme Sailing Series 2018, patroned on this occasion by Arnaud Psarofaghis, managed the pressure by scoring impressive 2-1-1 partials in the first three trials of the day, claiming himself mathematically winning in the absence of two sleeves to be disputed.

The Lusian city of Lagos is preparing for the GC32 World Cup

The World 2019 of GC32 will be held in the Portuguese town of Lagos from 26 to 30 June... the event will have ten teams of eight nationalities, including the title defender, the Swiss Team Tilt of Sébastien Schneiter, and will exercise a second test for the GC32 Racing Tour 2019.

The GC32 competed for the first time in Lagos waters last year, and they return this month to play the second official world class GC32, the GC32 World Championship 2019.

The grill will consist of a dozen squads: Alinghi (SUI), Argo (USA), Black Star Sailing Team (SUI), CHINAone NINGBO (CHN), INEOS Rebels UK (GBR), NORAUTO (FRA), Team Oman Air (OMA), Red Bull Sailing Team (AUT), Zoulou (FRA) and the title defender, Team Tilt (SUI)... these are the list of the GC32 registered in the World:
