Pep Pomares and José Monjé achieved the title of champions of the Balearic Islands

The Club Nàutic S'Arenal hosted this weekend the Championship of Baleares de Pesca en Embarcaciones Fondeadas held in the waters of the Bay of Palma... in which a total of 24 fishermen from the islands participated, who competed in three different ways: by clubs, by couples and by individuals.

In "couples," the host club's tandem formed by Pep Pomares and José Monje rose with the title of Baleares champions, followed by Josep Barceló and Pedro Amengual de S'Alqueria Blanca, and third Paco Sáez and David Sáez of the CN Santa Eulàlia.

Pep Pomares was also the subchampion of the Balearic Islands in the indivual category, only surpassed by Josep Barceló de S'Alqueria Blanca, while the third square was for Miguel Capó de Campos.

As for the team category, the first place was achieved by the team formed by PESCA, S'Alqueria Blanca and Campos, followed by the S'Alqueria Blanca team, and the third place was for the Arenal team.
