We're in the most important sport year, that of the Olympic Games. Every four years, it plays bisiesto and play Games, is the time when the four-year work can be rewarded or not, but like everything in life, there are always winners and losers, in an unfair way or not. The fact is that the four years of disconcertation and discontrol that the Spanish candle has lived can be paid for. That the Royal Spanish Federation of Vela has been the only one in the entire history of Spanish sport to prosper a motion of censorship, that of Julia Casanueva against José Ángel Rodríguez, says absolutely everything.

The Assembly that put Rodríguez Santos was the one that then took him out in a crushing way, 55 votes to 5, and all this less than a year from now for the Olympic Games and with sportsmen suffering hardships and managers with higher salaries than a minister. And I can assure you that they can be wrong, but the current board of directors with Casanueva at the head does it in a totally altruistic way, and seen as the picture is, is to be admired. Let us hope that all this disconcertation experienced by the athletes, that much of them have had to pay much of their expenses and that thanks to their families and those who have been lucky enough to have a sponsor, they have been able to reach the final line. Now there is only the last effort and we must all be united for the sake of sport.

Whether they get medals or not will depend on the future of many, the first athletes, those who go to Rio and those who do not, but it seems that some do not understand the same and, for a change, look for their own interests rather than look for the general interest. But this country, unfortunately, is so.
