The Turkish ship overcomes Azzurra and Bronenosec in an incredible last sleeve in which the three had options to take the title of the Port Sherry 52 Super Series Royal Cup. Platoon and Alegre win the two final races

Provizza was declared the winner of the Port Sherry 52 Super Royal Cup Series in a final infarction in which both the ship of the Turkish Ergin Imre and the Azzurra of the Roemmers family and the Bronenosec of Vladimir Liubomirov were able to take the historic Royal Cup home.

In the end, and thanks to a 'aid' of the Platoon that advanced the Argentine sailboat in the last stern, the Turks led in the water by New Zealand John Cutler were able to enjoy a triumph that 28 days ago in Menorca ran away from their hands for only four seconds.

On the Balearic Island it was the Platoon that took the honey from his mouth and in Puerto Sherry the sailboat of Harm Müller-Spreer has been the one that has made it possible, in advance of Azzurra in the last stern, for the Turks to get their second victory in their long history in the 52 Super Series.

In addition, Providzza ascends to the leadership in the general of the TP52 circuit after two contested races with two points of advantage over the Platoon and ten over the Azzurra. For Provides triumph is a great recognition to the bold work of its shipowner Ergin Imre.

The Sherry 52 Super Series Royal Cup has become a real roller coaster of results. Azzurra and Bronenosec, without anyone forgetting Providenza, are alternating in the leadership and in the absence of a day of race with two sleeves planned a single point separates them.

Today's two sleeves have been won by the Alegre and Phoenix 11 by Tina Plattner, the only woman in the fleet. Thus seven of the eight ships participating in this race have already won a manga which shows the impressive equality that currently exists in the fleet. There's just no idea what it's like to win Takashi Okura's Sled.

Bronenosec took the lead after Azzurra made a macula on the eighth sleeve. The Argentines came to that manga with a big second place on the seventh, but a bad decision not to change the candles for more wind led them to last round the barlovento buoy.

Tomorrow, with all the swords up, the fleet will be competing to win the first act of the TP52 Super Series. The classification is as follows:

1. Bronenosec (RUS) (Vladimir Liubomirov) (4,3,4,3,1,5,5.3) 28 points.
2. Azzurra (ARG / ITA) (Alberto Roemmers) (5.1,2,5,5,1,2,8) 29 p.
3. Provides (TUR) (Ergin Imre) (1,4,7,7,2,3,6) 32 p.
4. Platoon (GER) (Harm Müller-Spreer) (3,6,5,1,3,8,7,2) 35 p.
5. Sled (USA) (Takashi Okura) (8,2,3,4,4,4,8,4) 37 p.
6. Alegre (USA / GBR) (Andrés Soriano) (2,8,6,2,8,6,1,7) 40 p.
7. Quantum Racing (USA) (Doug DeVos) (7,7,7,1,6,7,4,5) 43 p.
8. Phoenix 11 (RSA) (Tina Plattner) (6,5,8,8,7,6,1) 44 p.

20 / 06 / 2019: "Azurra" retains the leadership of the Port Sherry 52 Super Series in the bay of Cadiz

Azzurra maintains the leadership of the Port Sherry 52 Super Series Royal Cup thanks to its victory in the second manga today in the bay of Cadiz... the Roemmers family's ship maintains an open fight with the Bronenosec by Vladimir Liubomirov who was the winner of the first manga and is showing impressive strength in the Atlantic waters.

The Protenzza has redone its bad second day of race and today has been the best boat in the water with two seconds on... these three ships are the main candidates for victory in the second race of the season, which is decided on Saturday in Puerto Sherry.

Two new sleeves are planned for tomorrow from two in the afternoon. This is the general classification in Puerto Sherry:

1. Azzurra (ARG / ITA) (Alberto Roemmers) (5,1,2,5,5.1) 19 points.
2. Bronenosec (RUS) (Vladimir Liubomirov) (4,3,4,3,1.5) 20 p.
3. Provides (TUR) (Ergin Imre) (1,4,7,7,2,2) 23 p.
4. Sled (USA) (Takashi Okura) (8,2,3,4,4) 25 p.
5. Platoon (GER) (Harm Müller-Spreer) (3,6,5,1,3,8) 26 p.
6. Alegre (USA / GBR) (Andrés Soriano) (2,8,6,2,8,6) 32 p.
7. Quantum Racing (USA) (Doug DeVos) (7,7,1,6,6,7) 34 p.
8. Phoenix 11 (RSA) (Tina Plattner) (6,5,8,8,7,3) 37 p.

19 / 06 / 2019: "Azurra" by Alberto Roemmers takes over in the TP52 of Puerto Sherry

Azzurra is the new leader of the Sherry 52 Super Series Royal Cup Port after two new trials with the Quantum and Platoon victories are held today. The Roemmers family ship is sailing in a very consistent way and is a leader with a single point of advantage over the Bronenosec.

The same effective tactic is developing the Russian TP52 of Vladimir Liubomirov who, without winning any sleeve, has been incarnated to the second position of the general with one point more than the Azzurra... the two sleeves today were won by the Quantum Racing and the Platoon with challenging wind conditions of about thirteen knots in the bay of Cadiz.

1. Azzurra (ARG / ITA) (Alberto Roemmers) (5,1,2.5) 13 p.
2. Bronenosec (RUS) (Vladimir Liubomirov) (4,3,4.3) 14 p.
3. Platoon (GER) (Harm Müller-Spreer) (3,6,5.1) 15 p.
4. Sled (USA) (Takashi Okura) (8,2,3,4) 17 p.
5. Alegre (USA / GBR) (Andrés Soriano) (2,8,6,2) 18 p.
6. Provides (TUR) (Ergin Imre) (1,4,7.7) 19 points.
7. Quantum Racing (USA) (Doug DeVos) (7,7,1,6) 21 p.
8. Phoenix 11 (RSA) (Tina Plattner) (6,5,8,8) 27 p.

18 / 06 / 2019: "Provides" of the Turkish Ergin Imre leader of the Port Sherry 52 Super Series Royal Cup

The Provider of the Turkish shipowner Ergin Imre is the first leader of the Port Sherry 52 Super Series Royal Cup, the second race of the TP52 circuit season... the "red sailboat," with John Cutler on the pole, made a first and a fourth to take the Azzurra of the Roemmers family at one point after the Argentine sailboat won the second manga of the day.

Provizza comes from making an excellent first competition of the season in Mahón. They remained only four seconds away from the final victory in the waters of Menorca and in Puerto Sherry the first thing they have done has been to ascertain the idea that they are absolutely capable of winning the race.

The first sleeve was given with one hour delay over the initial schedule. It was at three in the afternoon after the wind fell before two at four knots. In the end, the manga was given with a southwestern wind of 7 or 8 knots.

The Protenzza won the first manga... they chose the left side of the race field and with the virtue of John Cutler to the cane came the closest to the viewer. From there they already dominated the rest of the fleet. They opened the first board on the port side and arrived first to the barlovent beacon.

In the second manga the great damage in the exit was the Alegre that had to return to the exit line after making an off-line in the game. This time the ship that won the left side of the race field was the Azzurra with Guillermo Parada to the cane. As in the first manga from that side of the field, they dominated the first part of the competition. Sled improved a lot over the first sleeve and finished second.

For today two new sleeves are planned from two in the afternoon... so are the classifications:

1. Provides (TUR) (Ergin Imre) (1,4) 5 points.
2. Azzurra (ARG / ITA) (Alberto Roemmers) (5.1) 6 p.
3. Bronenosec (RUS) (Vladimir Liumirov) (4.3) 7 p.
4. Platoon (GER) (Harm Müller-Spreer) (3,6) 9 p.
5. Sled (USA) (Takashi Okura) (8.2) 10 p.
6. Alegre (USA / GBR) (Andrés Soriano) (2.8) 10 p.
7. Phoenix 11 (RSA) (Tina Plattner) (6.5) 11 p.
8. Quantum Racing (USA) (Doug DeVos) (7.7) 14 p.

The 52 Super Series are first presented in the incomparable bay of Cadiz... and they do so from the emblematic Port Sherry that will be the home of the eight ships that compete for the Port Sherry 52 Super Series Royal Cup. The Platoon, of the German shipowner Harm Müller-Spreer, defends the lead in the world's most important circuit for monocasque ships after he won the first test of the season a month ago in the waters of Menorca

But it will be very difficult to repeat victory because any of the eight ships that are from the departure in Puerto Sherry are trained not only to win sleeves but to get on Saturday 22 up to the top of the drawer. The victory of Platoon in Mahon has broken the usual duopoly that existed between the Quantum Racing and the Azzurra.

The official training race of the Port Sherry 52 Super Series Royal Cup is held on Monday while the valid competition tests for the circuit will be from Tuesday to Thursday... these are the teams participating in Puerto Sherry:

Alegre - Andy Soriano (USA / GBR), 2018 Botin
Azzurra - Alberto / Pablo Roemmers (ARG / ITA), 2018 Botin
Bronenosec - Vladimir Liubomirov (RUS), 2019 Botin
Phoenix 11 - Hasso / Tina Plattner (RSA), 2018 Botin

Provides - Ergin Imre (TUR), 2018 Judel / Vrolijk
Quantum Racing - Doug DeVos (USA), 2018 Botin
Sled - Takashi Okura (USA), 2018 Botin

And so is the General Classification of 52 Super Series, after the Mahon race:
