The Canary surfer premiered in the league with a victory while the Gipuzcoan won his second victory by further tightening the top of the classification... Pantín beach launched its well-known "wave factory" and the best national surfers took advantage of it to demonstrate its quality on a spectacular day of surfing

The Iberdrola Fesurfing League moved to Galicia to hold a new test on the beach of Pantín... the good conditions planned for Saturday day made the competition leadership choose to take the test in a single day.

The leader of the general classification, Luís Díaz, opened his participation with two very good waves, totaling a total of 16.50 points in the first round. In its second performance, the canary managed to perform the best wave of the competition (9.17 points) and get enough motivation to get access to the great final.

The Italian Yael Peña, champion of the Fesurfing League 2018, also showed his credentials since the morning with a very solid surfing and high scores in the preliminary rounds. Peña got the pass to the big final after he got the first position on all his sleeves.

The great surprise of the day was in charge of the Galician Martin Cortijo. The Coruñés claimed his knowledge of the beach and with a very viscous surfing he got his place at the end of this Open Galicia of the Iberdrola Fesurifing League.

For his part, the gipuzcoan Andy Criere was from less to more. He started the competition without finding waves with enough potential to run his best surf, yet the Gipuzcoan knew that his moment was about to come.

In the final, Andy Criere managed to radically change his feelings. In the first minutes the Gipuzcoano managed to sign two good waves that allowed him to have more time to choose better waves and to finish the sleeve with a long right with 9.00 points and a new victory in the Iberdrola Fesurfing League 2019. The podium was completed by Luis Díaz (second), Martín Cortijo (third) and Yael Peña (fourth).

In the female category, Marcela Machado managed to debut in the Iberdrola League 2019 with a well-deserved victory. As in the male category, the high level of all competitors did not make it easy for the canary to access the great final.

In the final manga, Machado faced the Violeta Sánchez (second), the Martina Alvarez (third) galician, who signed the best wave of the competition in semi-finals and the Basque Maren del Campo (fourth).

With these results, the canary Luis Díaz and the Basque Leticia Canales arrive as leaders of the Iberdrola Fesurfing League to the next stop in Cantabria in late August with the Festival Escuela Cantabra de Surf.
