The World Free Style Championship, which is held from June 29 to July 6 at the Noguera Pallaresa River in Lleida, will be the opening of the new stadium that has two waves or roubles for the practice of this specialty of piragüism.

In the absence of less than a month for the World Championship, the organizing committee presented this competitive event in the context of the Disseny Hub Barcelona building of the square of les Glòries, a space chosen to make known the most spectacular competition of the brazen water pyragüism.

The new installation, which has been made with sustainability criteria, is located on the below section of the race field, just after the urban bridge of Sort that crosses the river in the direction of La Seu d'Urgell... the new stadium has two waves or rubles that will operate throughout the year thanks to the infrastructure designed to be able to control water flows in case of high levels in times of melting.

The Sort World Championship hosts all the specialities of the free style. C1 - canoe closed - and OC1 - canoa abierta - kayak K1 and the speciality of squirt, which is a model of pirage in which space has been minimized and there is only room for legs.
