TransMediterranean will cover the line Gandia - Ibiza - Palma with the fast ship Milenium Two from June 15

The TransMediterranean Arms Group announces the entry of the Milenium Two high-speed ship to the Gandia - Ibiza - Palma route from next June 15. A ship with a capacity for 866 passengers, 220 vehicles and 288 linear meters of cargo and 35 knots of speed.

With this incorporation, the company responds to the demand for a high-speed ship in the connections from Gandia to Ibiza, shortening the journey to two and a half hours, as well as from Ibiza to Palma in two and a quarter hours. In addition, the service with Ibiza will be strengthened in August, incorporating a second rotation with the island from Friday to Sunday, including Sunday, September 1.

The ferry Volcano of Tijarafe gives way to the catamaran Milenium Two, responding to the seasonal demand of high speed in the connections Gandia-Ibiza-Palma, which allows to shorten the duration of the traverses.

In this way, the Trans-Mediterranean Arms Group advances the entrance to the Balearic Islands of high speed until the incorporation this summer of the new Tagoro Volcano. It is the most modern ship in its class and one of the largest in the world that places the Spanish merchant navy at the vanguard of Europe. It has capacity for 1,184 passengers, 215 cars and 595 linear meters of load and a speed of 35 knots.

Also, in its clear commitment to Gandia as a key port in the connections with the Balearic Islands, the TransMediterranean Arms Group will this summer improve its facilities in the said port of the region of La Safor, pending the final rearrangement of the accesses and the harbour enclosure.
