Jorge Suárez and Nerea Donaire in Sub 18; Ricardo de la Hera and Alicia Takahashi in Sub 16; Fekru Jiménez and Martina Escobar in Sub 14; Dylan Donegan in Sub 12 mixed win in the Arenal Pontevedrés

A new edition of the Fesurfing Junior Series led many young surfers from different parts of the country to the Galician town of O Grove. Here, the young people played the third test of the season of the national junior circuit of the Spanish Federation of Surfing.

In the mixed sub-12 category Dylan Donegan would impose with 12.27 points on Mateo Vázquez, second position with 11.24 points, on Álvaro de la Fuente, which would add 10.07 points and on Felix Fraile who would take the fourth square.

The sub-14 category would crown Fekru Jiménez and Martina Escobar. In female, the current ranking leader, Martina Escobar, would take the 1000 points with a total score of 5.97 points ahead of Greta García, Lucía Oruve and Candela Vilariño.

Freku Jiménez, for his part, achieved his second consecutive victory and added 1000 new points ahead of Sebas Bamonde, Alejandro Montañés and Conor Donegan. With these results Freku Jiménez and Sebas Bamonde tie in the first position of the general classification both with 2000 points.

The Sunday day also received competitors with good sea conditions and a sunny day. The final day of competition would be for the categories sub 16 and sub 18 both in male and female.

In the category sub 18 the wins would be for surfers Nerea Donaire and Jorge Suárez with 14.33 and 8.97 points respectively. In male they would complete the podium Tarik Hajbaoui, Kike Suárez and Pablo Gorgojo. With these results the Asterian Kike Suárez remains at the forefront of the general classification with 2400 points.

In female, after Donaire they completed the drawer, Carmen Mier, Carlota Barreras and Marta Bujan. Nerea Donaire achieves his second consecutive victory and is consolidated at the head of the general classification with 2000 points.

In the sub-16 category, Ricardo de la Hera and Alicia Takahashi would be winning by adding Takahashi 15.44 points and Hera 12.90 points. In male they would complete the podium Manuel Fernández, Noah Hechtz and Néstor García. With these results Manuel Fernandez is placed at the head of the general classification with 2025 points.

In female sub 16, after Takahashi, they would complete the following positions, Martina Álvarez, Isabel Corugedo and Alba González. With these results Martina Álvarez remains at the forefront of the general classification with 2470 points.

The Galega Federation of Surf and Prado Surf Escola, the organizers of the test, give green light to the third test of the season at the Fesurfing Junior Series after reviewing the forecast models for this weekend on the coast of Pontevedra.

In an unbeatable location, the A Lanzada event awaits the arrival of the best junior athletes in what is expected to become a great weekend of surfing.
