The practical analysis of the newly published RD, which provides for the adjoining of the nautical degrees and updates the safety measures in the use of the nautical bikes (on which ANEN reported on April 5), as well as the progress of other legislative developments, have focused the day towards the legislative update of the nautical sector, organized by ANEN and the DGMM, which was held this morning at the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca in Palma.

The main legislative novelty announced by the Director General of the Merchant Navy, Benito Núñez Quintanilla, has been the publication in the coming days of a new Service Instruction on nautical lease, in which the DGMM has worked together with ANEN and AEGY.

This is a regulation which responds to a repeated demand for the water charter sector and which aims to simplify, unify and speed up the criteria for the practice of the charter with regard to the procedures to be carried out in the face of maritime captains.
