The strong wind and rain conditioned the development of the tests in The Abra de Getxo

The 2019 Bizkaia de Vela Ligera Championship was held in Getxo waters with organization of the Maritime of the Abra... in Laser Radial won Manolo Rey Baltar thanks to its first two positions, with Tanis Rey Baltar and Ignacio Aja second and third with 5 points. Already in Laser 4.7 was imposed Aitor Piepoli, with Peio Ramírez in second place and Natalia Carreira in third place.

For their two victories, Alba Ortega and Telma Aja proclaimed themselves provincial champions in the FEVA class, in which Jaime Hernando and Pablo Zerón finished second.

In the Optimist class the best was Gabriel Oraá, first classified in the two tours scheduled by the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club. Second concluded Arrieta Angueira - who defended his title - and third Aketx Otxarri.

A year ago, Arrieta Angueira won Optimist, with Mikel Ibiricu in the second square and Erlantz Franco in the third. Tanis Rey Baltar, on his side, proclaimed himself the champion of Bizkaia in the Laser 4.7 class by overcoming Andoni Lejarraga and Aier Piepoli, who completed the podium. In addition, Alba Ortega and Telma Aja rose with the title in the FEVA class, ahead of Cristina Terry and Nerea Alvarez, and Mariana and Inés Herrero.
