The laserist of Club Nàutic Cambrils Marcelo Cairo, champion of Catalonia of Laser Standard and absolute winner of the 46th Cornudella Trophy of Club Nàutic El Balís

The 46th edition of the Cornudella Trophy, organized by the Nàutic El Balís Club on two weekends, has ended on Sunday, May 12. On the first weekend, Marcelo Cairo and Ricard Castellví ended up as provisional leaders of their respective classes.

This weekend, five more tests were held with soft winds of between 5 and 9 knots, Marcelo Cairo closed an excellent competition, achieving the Catalan Championship and the Cornudella Trophy.

He wasn't the only one in Cambrils who was on the podium. Ricard Castellví finished second in Laser 4.7, followed by his partner Nil Subirats. The Nàutic Cambrils Club also took part in Lluís Fargas, Sergi Sevil, Lucia Gascón, Carla Vallverdú, Jesús Gascón and Guillem Griñó also in Laser 4.7.
