The 49er European Championship, FX and Nacra 17 ended today with two bronze medals for Spain after seven days of competition. Diego Botín and Iago Ópez- Marra were made with the third European position the 49er class and the sisters Carla and Marta Munté won the bronze in category Sub 23 of the 49er FX.
The last day of the competition was marked by the weak wind conditions that were recorded in Weymouth, England. In the morning the 49er contested the final test of the final phase, and in the afternoon, although late, the race medals of 49er FX and Nacra 17 were held. The 49er, the last in the grille of salt race, could not compete in the final race for lack of wind.
