The largest and longest superyacht race in Europe celebrates its 23rd edition from 19 to 22 June

Two months for the exit pistolet of the Superyacht Cup Palma, the largest and longest superyacht race in Europe, the 2019 edition is anticipated as one of the most competitive of recent years, with some of the most impressive boats in the world, with ranges ranging from 25 to 52 meters, offering a unique show in the bay of Palma... are already confirmed 15 superyachts today.

Many of the boats participating in the last editions of the test return in 2019 to enjoy the excellent weather conditions of the bay of Palma, the dedicated organization and the well-known services for superyachts, which have made Mallorca one of the best headquarters in the Mediterranean, and even the world.

The venerable Class J Velsheda, the current defender of the title of winner of the Superyacht Cup Palma, has already confirmed his presence for the next edition of the race, in which he will meet the largest and most recent member of the fleet, the J8 Topaz, built and adapted to the rule by Hoek Design from a 1935 design by Frank C Paine, Yankee designer.

In the range of 30 meters in length, the test will have boats like Nilaya or Missy, as well as the winner of Class A in 2018 Win Win, all of them without a doubt with options to make the victory. Win Win and Nilaya, two designs by Baltic Yachts, a gold sponsor of the competition, will certainly try to repeat the triumph of his shipyard partner, Hetairos, in the last edition of the Saint Barths Bucket, where Velsheda also made victory in one of the classes, which will certainly be an extra motivation for Palma.

Two of the new additions to the Superyacht Cup Palma are Kealoha and Open Season. With its 27.5 meters length Kealoha goes to the test in compliance with the wish of its owners, while the powerful 32-meter open season - ex Hamilton, returns to the Majorcan race for the first time since 2015.

Other developments in the fleet of the Superyacht Cup Palma are the exclusive Stay Calm - formerly Serano of London - of the Nautor's Swan shipyard with Frers design, and the majestic Bequia, an elegant 30-meter-long yawl, creation of Stephen Waring Yacht Design and Brooklin Boat Yards, as well as the 40-meter Huckleberry (ex Victoria of Strathearn), which is premiered this year in the competition, or the light and fast Tulip, a slop of 26-inch in the Yrama, in the fourth time.
