The current defenders of the Master World Champion's title, Damián Borras and Jordi Triay, of the Mahon Maritime Club... will be one of the favorite teams to rise with the victory, but they will have to take very seriously the American couple Ernesto Rodríguez and Kathleen Tocke who, while not eligible for the European title, will be a hard rival to beat in the open trophy.

The test will also include the Menorcan crew formed by Fernando Rita and Juan Magro, the current subchampion of the class world, as well as the canary Fernando León, the Olympic medalist in Atlanta in the Tornado class, who competes with Antonio del Castillo... other firm candidates for the title are the Spanish Alejandro Fresneda and Javier López Fernández, the couple formed by the Portuguese Tiago Roquette and the Belgian Dries Crombe, or Manu Hens and Maj Kristin Hansen Borgen (Belgium - Norway) to the favorites.

The 98 participating snipes will compete in fleet format, that is, they will do it together... so both the speed and the strategy to get on the exits and take the best course will be decisive to achieve victory.
