The sixth edition of the April Oils Trophy of Optimist, organized by the Fundación Club Náutico de Vigo and the Real Club Náutico, was again overtaken by the quality of the regatists, belonging to eleven clubs throughout the autonomous community, and the quantity, as they met about 150 by including the trophy a competition for the young values of the school.

The April Oils Trophy of Optimist, which meets its sixth edition, is one of the Galician citations required of the class... because of its condition of classification for the Galician selection, it will take to the water this weekend some 150 regatists of eleven Galician clubs, under the organization of the Nautical Vigo Foundation and the Real Nautical Vigo Club itself.
In the Ria de Vigo there will be the best, with host club options for Stella Enríquez, fourth of the Galician ranking (102 points), and Nuno Meijide in Sub-16 and Inés Ameneiro in Sub-13. The world of Vaurien, Alejandra Suárez, is the coach of the Vigo fleet.
In addition, the championship will be the best of the autonomous community, including Bruno Ameneiro (RCN Sanxenxo), leader of the ranking with 28 points and winner of the Viguese race in 2017, Pablo Rodríguez (RCN Rodeira), who goes second (64), Adriana Pérez-Canal (Marítimo de Canido), third (91) or Mencía Casas (Marítimo de Canido), fifth classified (102).
