Fran Palacio, on board the Russian ship New Terrritories of the shipowner Alex Semenov, was proclaimed this weekend the winner of the prestigious French race, Spi Ouest in the class J70.

More than 500 ships are gathered each year in the French Atlantic town of the Trinité sur Mer, to participate in one of the most prestigious races of the international nautical landscape.

The Spi Ouest was held from 18 to 22 April, four days of race and 10 trials in total, where the Russian boat led the test from the second day of competition to the end, much equality between fleet of which the high level of the participants must be highlighted.

An edition where the weather conditions were good compared to other years, the sun flashed and the wind blew with little intensity.
