The Canaries did not give truce to the rest of the participants and won nine of the 14 contested races

The mixed crew of Gran Canaria composed of Yoel Hernández and Paula Barrio achieved gold in the Spanish Championship of 29er held in Canary waters, being the Valencians Quicorras Uriós and Filippo Binetti, the subchampions.

The third place of the podium has been for the ibicencos Marc Barber- Patrick Juan who disqualified with a BFD of the ninth test, took them away from the Valencians having to defend the podium in front of the Catalan Alicia Fras- María González, quarters in the general ahead of the cantabra Susana Hurtado- Carlota García, who closed the classification of the first five positions.

With this championship, it is set up the final ranking of the team that will represent our country in the next Polish world championship and European championship of the Lake di Garda (Italy) that will be composed of: Yoel Hernández- Paula Barrio, Quicorras Urios- Filippo Binetti and Alicia Fras- María González, these last two crews will also participate in the ISF world.
