The Community Trophy of Mount Real Club of Yates closed a new edition on Saturday, crowned as the winner of the Nahela, of the Alagua Sports Club of A Guarda, which was the absolute winner in the general classification, also winning in the class ORC 1.

After listening to the exit horn in front of the Vigo Transatlantic Pier at two o'clock in the afternoon and starting a long, nearly 9 miles to Baiona, the fleet took the beacons of La Negra and Carallones, and finally crossed the line of arrival inside the Baionese bay... in total 12 few miles.

The weather forecasts, which announced the northern wind entrance, played a bad way to the sailboats who chose that course waiting for a wind that finally did not enter. Most fortunate were those who faced the test in the south, like the Nahela of A Guarda. His patron, Victor Manuel Álvarez, said they were favored by the luck and good decisions made.

The second and third position in that category were for the Starfighter de Julio Rodríguez, the Real Nautical Club of Vigo; and the Unus del Monte Real Club de Yates, patroniado por Luis García Trigo.

The Abal Abogados / Pintos Lagar / Fanautic del Ro Yacht Club, patronized by Mariano Dios, was made with the gold of the race in the class ORC 2. The Balea Dous de Luis Pérez (Real Club Náutico de Rodeira) and Alberto Sousa's Don Pansa were left second and third.

The J80 had the winner in the Cansino del Monte Real Club de Yates... the second and third were the Cunichán of José Luis Pérez and the Mondo of Bernardo Macedo.

In the Figaro class, the best of the fleet was the Ladeira of Genoveva Pereiro, followed by the Serralleiras of Alberto Iglesias, and the Erizana of Javier Ortega.

The Mount Real Club of Yates inaugurates this Holy Week its cruise season of 2019 with the celebration of the Community Trophy... a coastal race between Vigo and Baiona with the beginning of the two of the afternoon of the Holy Saturday, with a total of 15 miles.

Among the participating fleet are some of the winners of the previous edition, who will seek to revalidate triumph. It is the case of the Portuguese Rui Ramada, who in 2018 was raised with the victory of those of his class on board the Atlantic MBA and who on this occasion will participate in the Yess Too commanders. Another of the winners of 2018, the Balea Dous of the Royal Nautical Club of Rodeira, will also be among the participants, with the usual good doing of Luis Pérez to the cane.

Another one of those who has already announced their participation in the competition is the Bosch Service Solutions of Ramón Ojea, of the Club Marítimo de Canido, which will return for the victory, which he escaped the previous year, in which he had to conform to the bronze of the third position. Among the J80, he also repeated the winner of the last edition, which was the New Moon of Juan Luis Tuero.
