Half a hundred boats of the Laser class meet this weekend in Bouzas, in the Trophy Naval Effects Jesus Betanzos that organizes the Bouzas Maritime Liceo. On board they sail veterans and youth, contributing to the event the experience of those who know most of the sea and the illusion of the younger ones who, some of them, are still taking their first steps. This is the fourth edition of the Laser Open & Master Galicia 2019, with ages between the youngest aged 15 or 16, to the older category that is the Standard Great Grand Masters.
The first day began with a little more than an hour and a half of delay, due to the lack of wind in the Ria de Vigo. In addition to this, the intense water slices that were going through it, sometimes making visibility difficult. However, a north-east of 60, with a range of 6 to 8 knots of intensity, was responsible for giving the necessary bellows to be able to complete up to three tests.
