Valencian fans enjoy the success of Marina Valencia Week
It concluded in La Marina de València the first edition of Marina Valencia Week, the first nautical concentration of the Gulf of València, which brought together more than 200 ships of all the length, among ships of class cruise, light sail, rowing, water bikes and other floating artifacts, to star a unique photo of València in which the passion of the city for the sea and the nautical is reflected.
The event was organized by the Valencia Consortium 2007, the managing body of La Marina de València, and the Association of Employers of the Marina de València, with the collaboration of the Maritime Service of the Civil Guard of Valencia and the Real Club Náutico of Valencia.
The nautical companies and restaurants of Viu La Marina de València have turned with this first edition of the event, which has attracted many visitors to the Valencian dársena, a wide offer of menus and nautical activities such as christms of navigation and diving, paddle surf exits, kayak or water bikes...
In addition, both the participants in the event and those who have approached La Marina de València have been able to enjoy a nautical market and a mini-fair of boats of occasion and zero mile, as well as parties and tardeos in High Cube, local host of the event. A light sailing race was also held on Saturday, organized by Marina Valencia Sailing Club.

The first nautical concentration of the Gulf of Valencia... with a wide range of nautical, gastronomic and leisure offers
The Marina de València hosts from tomorrow and until Sunday, the first edition of Marina Valencia Week, the largest nautical concentration with exit from the Marina de Valencia that will bring together ships of all the length, from light sail to cruise, not forgetting kayaks, surf boards and paddle surf and water bikes.
The event is organized by the Consortium Valencia 2007, the managing body of La Marina de València, and the Association of Navy Entrepreneurs, with the collaboration of the Service Marítimo de la Guardia Civil de Valencia and the Real Club Nautico de Valencia. The organization expects the presence of more than 300 boats on Sunday, April 14, in front of the Malvarrosa beach, to star in a spectacular official photo of the event that shows València's passion for the sea and the nautical.
On the ground, visitors can find exclusive offers in the menus of the restaurants of Viu La Marina de València, nautical market, and a mini fair of boats of occasion and mile zero, as well as nautical activities such as navigation and diving baptisms, or paddle surfing, kayak or water bikes with interesting discounts.
The nautical exhibitions and sea baptisms will begin on Thursday afternoon and continue during the days of Friday Saturday and Sunday. In addition on Saturday there will be a nautical market in the nautical village located in the northern part of the Valencian dársena, where large offers can be found between 11 and 17 hours. All these activities open to the public will be accompanied by special menus in the restaurants of Viu La Marina de València, tardeos in High Cube and night parties.
This great nautical concentration will also include the I Regata Viu La Marina de València, organized by Marina Valencia Sailing Club, as well as various awards for the participating boats that have the youngest, longest crew, the one that has come from the farther or the most beautiful. The trophy delivery will take place on Saturday at 23: 00 in High Cube.
In conjunction with the event, a photo contest is planned for those snapshots made during the Marina Valencia Week that collect some moment or detail of the concentration. On April 25, the winner of the competition will be known, which will enjoy a gastronomic or nautical experience in one of the establishments of Viu La Marina de València.
