The Andalusian regatist Blanca Manchón stands as the top candidate to represent Spain at the Tokyo 2020 Games
White Manchón and Ivan Pastor, nays in their respective categories, were the most prominent Spanish athletes of the RS: X European Championship, proof that has been held this week in the Bay of Palma of Mallorca under the organization of the Arenal Nautical Club and that has had a participation of more than 300 windsurfers from all over the world.
The Andalusian White Manchón took advantage of the last manga of the RS: X European Championship to improve positions and ended up in the 19th place of the general and was the ninth best European athletes in absolute female category.
This test was of great importance to the Spanish windsurfers as it served to choose the national representative at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The second day of the RS: X European Championship that is being held at the Arenal Nautical Club, Mallorca, was held with an unstable wind from the West that did not allow the program to be completed. The youth regatists, the first to go to the water, sailed three sleeves while in absolute male and female category only two tests were performed.
Ivan Pastor exceeded the day with a 2 + 15, partial results that placed him in the tenth position of the European classification with 28 net points, only nine of the podium posts.
