Point and end successfully to the race par excellence of light sailing of the Nautico de Valencia
In the waters of the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia has concluded the 59th edition of the Grand Trophy Valencia of light sail, one of the most emblematic races of the club, which has been noticeable for the Autonomous Championship of the classes 420, Laser Radio Male, Laser 4.7, Bic Techno 293, Raceboard and RS: X. The race has been marked by the intensity and hardness of the competition, with winds between 18 and 20 knots of intensity and, as usual, by the success of participation, with more than 120 athletes registered between boats and boards.
In 420, Carlos Balaguer and José de Pablo have signed a very good performance that has given them the victory, with the second and third general square occupied by Poles Mateusz Szweda and Jacek Muszynski, and Aleksandra Roszkowska and Tomasz Santorowski, respectively. The first female couple to be classified was Pilar Pérez de Lucía and Gabriela Corbalán, of the RCN Valencia, six in the general table.
The Alicantino José Vicent Gutiérrez, of the RCR Alicante, has been the winner in Laser Standard, being unsatisfied with all the first positions in the four trials held. The podium was completed by Javier Muñoz Criado and David Rey, both of Marina Valencia Sailing Club.
In Laser Radial the victory has been for Gonzalo Suárez Pérez, of CN Altea, with the second square for Carlos Sánchez Guillén of RCN Valencia and third position for Enrique Moreno of CN Campello. The regatist of the CN Altea, Carme Suárez Pérez has been made with the female victory. Mariano Cebrián of the CN Benidorm has been the winner in Laser 4.7, followed by Marcos Altarriba of the RCN Valencia and Manuel García of the CN Mar Menor, and with Lara Sabine Himmes female champion.
The Grand Trophy Valencia has also gathered more than 30 tables in Valencian waters this weekend, which have measured forces in the categories RS: X, Techno Plus, and Techno Plus sub15 and sub17. Octavio Ramón del CN Jávea has been the winner in RS: X, while Víctor Ruiz, of the French Hispanic CW, has done the same in Techno Plus with all the first positions in the 6 trials disputed by this class. His club mates Pol Sauer and Rubén Martínez have been second and third ranked, respectively, with Sofia Boscarol, of the CN Alicante Costa Blanca, fourth classified and female winner.
The Xabian Jacobo Ramón has been made with the victory in Techno sub15 with a good performance, followed by Carlos Marí, also from CN Javea, and Sofia Vedrune, from the French Hispanic CW, who has also been the female winner.
The CN Jávea has also taken the trophy in Techno sub17 by Alex Ortega, who has been brilliant, followed by Javier Clement, and Carlos Sánchez Pascual, both of the CN Santa Pola. Natalia Blanquer of the French Hispanic CW has been the female champion.

On April 6 and 7, the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia welcomes the one that is certainly its longest race, the Grand Trophy Valencia, which has already 59 editions betting on the light sail of competition. Thus, this weekend the club will bring together more than 120 boats and boards to take part in its most emblematic light sailing race, which will also be Autonomical Championship for the 420 classes, Male Radial Laser, Laser 4.7, Bich Techno 293, Raceboard and RS: X.
A maximum of 6 tests are expected to be held during the Saturday and Sunday days, for which the organization has arranged two different race fields, one for the boats and one for the boards. On Sunday after the tests will be held the trophy delivery.
