The Week of the Sailing of Madrilela is held in its first phase. It does so in one of the best scenarios in the Madrid Community, such as the San Juan reservoir in San Martín de ValdeIglesias. In this first event will take place the first edition of the Symposium of Internal Water in the Castle of the Coracera, a meeting that will take place on the day of Saturday, April 6.

In the sport, and in this first delivery, the Iberian Snipe Championship (6-7 April) will be held in the RCN of Madrid, with the best fleet of the class at level and of Portugal, mainly, which is sponsored by the Abanca Week at the level of experience facing the eruption of the Madrid club in this year's edition, in the next October.

The second event of the Madrilela Week of Vela will take place in October the same club, RCN Madrid, which will host the Selling race within the Grand Master category. At the same time, the Club Náutico San Ramón, will host the Regata of Optimist, within the week Abanca 2019.

The commitment of the Community of Madrid for the nautical sport and in particular of the sailing, is reflected in its involvement in both the present edition of the Week of the Sailing of Madrifuela and in the previous one, in addition to its collaboration in Madrid Azul and other activities and actions carried out by the Federation of Madrifuela de Vela, as well as the maximum responsible for the sport in the Community of Madrid, Javier Orcaray, Director General of Sports.
