The AEAT, the State Agency for Tax Administration, has chosen Retubing for the updating and development of two assistants of its Alcotan patrol (based on A Coruña) and Falcon (Vigo), belonging to Customs Surveillance.

These are DR-570 paths with about 15 years of service that face a new life cycle after receiving a complete service consisting of the replacement of their floats, the recovery of accessories and the installation of self-adrizating system.

For the floats, high-resistance polyurethal material in customs blue (Ocean Blue) made of Thermosealing technology has been chosen, with five independent watertight compartments, high-relief defense on its entire contour, anti-slip reinforcements and double-line life garland.

The development has been completed with a service of integral recovery of parts in inox, polishing of fiber accessories, lacquering of tiles and replacement of electronic elements.

Finally, the installation of the self-handling system required structural reforms in deck and stern mirror, improving the safety of the occupants by ensuring the automatic handling of the vessel in the event of a roll-over.

These extensive work carried out by the Retubing team allows the extension of the useful life of the vessels, keeping them fully operational for the high requirements associated with the surveillance and safety work of the AEAT.
