The Rodman Circuit marked a before and after in the world of high-rise sports fishing at European level. The company led by Manuel Rodríguez commissioned, through its then Director General Francisco Rivas, Manuel Pedro Seoane, a project to enhance this sports facet of the nautical. After several meetings with the top manager of the Marketing Department, María Herrero, Triente raised his proposal to Rodman, which was welcomed with enthusiasm and was launched that same year, working with the leading Viguese shipyard of the sector, companies such as Volvo Penta, DSM, Raymarine, Metromar, Hempel, Baitra, Reiriz Transport, Dahlberg,..., the success was total and after four tests held in Campello- Alicante, S'Estanyol- Mallorca, Estepona- Malaga and Arenys of Barcelona, the first edition of the Spanish fishing and the first edition of the city of Barcelona, the...

In total, seven editions would be held until 2008, the trajectory was fully interrupted. Rodman made history in many facets, but the one that stood out was the support of the media generalist and sports, case of ABC and MARCA, as well as many other regional newspapers, such as El Correo, Sur, Diario de Mallorca, Las Perovincias, Information, Diario Montañés, El Comercio, La Nueva España, Levante, Ultima Hora, El Día de Baleares,..., and so many others. The spaces he dedicated to several Rodman Circuits, both CANAL + and TVE's 1 (More Sport and Jara and Sedal respectively) were also shocking.
