The Galician Federation of Piragüismo has given to the Spanish the documentation that is supported by the Xunta de Galicia, the Diputación de Ourense and the City Council of Castrelo de Miño so that this Galician town can host in 2020 the first edition of the World Esprint Championship of non-Olympic tests.

The president of the Real Federación Española de Piragüismo, Juan José Román Manga, has received from the delegate in Ourense of the Galician Federation (FEGAPI), José Manuel Fernández, the writings with the support of the three Administrations to make Castrelo de Mino the candidate defended by the State entity to the International Federation, ICF for its initials in English, to host the new international competition next year.

The documents are signed by the xeral secretary for O Sporte de la Xunta de Galicia, José Ramón Lete; the president of the Diputación de Ourense, Manuel Baltar, and the mayor of the City Council of Castrelo de Miño, Xurxo Rodríguez.
