The Majorcan Maria Perelló, of the CN S'Arenal has shown a great consistency that has made it rise with the female gold and the second general square. His club partner Nicola Sadler has also signed a regular performance that has given him the third and second general square of the female podium.

The test, conceived as a joint preparation for Russian and Spanish regatists, has acquired an international dimension and a great success of call, which has led to the number of registered in this second edition having quadrupled that of 2018.
The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia and the Saint Petersburg Yacht Club celebrate this weekend the second edition of the international race OptiOrange, one of the most important tests of Optimist in Europe, which brings this edition to more than 330 top-level athletes.

Belgium will be represented by almost the full team that took part in the European and World championships, while the Irish fleet is composed of the first five of the national ranking. The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Poland, Italy and Switzerland also participate, with powerful teams and, of course, Russia, with 46 regatists, the second largest fleet of the competition, in which Kirill Shunenkov, with two national titles, and Nikita Chernykh who took bronze at the last Russian Championship, stands out.
Among the smaller teams in number is Latvia, with two participants, one of whom Martin Atilla has just proclaimed himself a winner in Palamós in front of more than 500 competitors and is the second ranked of the Excellence Cup. Bermuda comes with four representatives, including the national leader, Christian Ebbin, who was the winner of the United Kingdom National Championship in 2018, and Ukraine participates with Maria Leonchuk, daughter of the Olympic Georgiy Leonchuk who achieved silver in class 49er in Athens.
The competition will begin on Friday, March 8, and will end on Sunday, with a maximum of 8 scheduled tests... the fleet will be divided into four groups to first dispute a series of classifications and, later, a series of final series, to which the conclusion will be held the delivery of trophies... also, during the days before the test, the prestigious Belgian preacher Pieter Van den Bossche is giving children a clinic and training for the race.
