With the Villalia Spring Series of J70 begins in the waters of the Ria de Vigo, the high competition of the monotypes in Spain this season. The agreement between the sponsoring company and the National Class Association was reached last week, and covers the "spring series" that will have four events in total throughout the months of March, April and May, which have the particularity that together with the National Class to be held in Catalan waters, they will be used to confirm the ranking, with which the Spanish Team will be made face the World Championship.

The atmosphere at the beginning of the season is really good, and it can already be confirmed that today it is in the twenty of J70 registered, belonging to the fleets of Galicia, Cantabria, Baleares, Valencia and Canarias, with a great level, to the point that we can confirm that the best patterns of this montipada class will compete in Galician waters, and it is very likely that in the final part of these Villalia Spring Series, even are also in line of ships from Catalonia and Andalusia, with which the full in Vigo will be total.

At this time of year the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona is organizing the Barcelona Winter Series for J70 and J80, but with less participation than those in Galicia: 15 J70 and 8 J80. In Galicia, in J80 between the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña and Mount Real Club of Yates, more than 15 in each call, and in Vigo today 18 J70 are confirmed.
