Iago López of the Royal Nautical Club of Portosín has been proclaimed champion of the I Regata classifying for the Class A, with views to the European 2020 in Puerto Sherry... an appointment that has brought together this weekend 27 ships from Galicia, Valencia, Catalonia, Andalusia and Murcia Region.
López, who has made a parenthesis in his Olympic preparation in 49er to compete in Class A, has signed 2 partial wins and 4 seconds on, which has placed him in that first position with 8 points. The podium has been completed with another of the great favorites who competed in the Minor Sea, such as the Valencian Abdón Ibáñez (RCN Valencia) adding 16 points, both in the Class A Volator category, while the local Micky Todd (CTD Infanta Cristina) has hung the bronze, as well as taking the trophy to the first Class A in the Classic mode.

The Sports Tecnification Center "CTD Infanta Cristina" has been the stage this morning of the completion of the I Regata Classificatorio for the 2020 European Championship to be held in CN Puerto Sherry, for the fleet catamaran Class A, race to be held next weekend, 2 and 3 March in the waters of the Sea Minor.
A test that has as its main objective, on the part of the class, to recover Class A 'Classics' as in recent times' Flying 'has been given greater relevance.
In the Minor Sea, except for last minute changes, there will be present about 30 ships arrived from Andalusia, with wide representation of Puerto Sherry highlighting one of its best bazas as as is Juan Luis Páez; Valencia Community, with some of its best fans: Kiko Espí, Rafa Gómez, Jacobo Espí and Abdón Ibáñez champion of the World GM 2017; Galicia, with one of the best in this type of ships as is Iago Iarra; Catalonia, with another one among the quinielas as is Marc Verdaguer (L'Cuta), without forgetting the local ones of the Marílio, or by some of the region of the Márgio, as well as by the Márgíriano or by some of the Márgírán. At the international level two units arrive from Belgium: Philippe Muysers and Walter Gonzalez, while from Ireland will be the only female on the table: Yvonne Sheehan.
