Great success of the Valencia Nautico

The Real Club Nàutico de Valencia finished the Trophy President of light sailing, which has brought together 70 regatists from all the Valencia Community of the Laser 4.7 and Radial classes, Optimist A, B and C, Snipe and Hobie 16. The fleet held two very technical tests with the loose wind of Levante yesterday, except for the Hobie 16 that only completed one, while today the weather conditions have not allowed any test to be contested.

The younger regatists have been the most numerous in the race, with 26 Optimist A and B and 18 athletes from Optimist C, the youngest of the entire fleet. In Optimist A, the absolute and female winner was Natalia Moreno, of the CN Madrid, with a third and a first, with her second-place partner Alba Moreno and Sergi Soler of the RCN Valencia, completing the podium.

The winner in class Optimist B has been Javier Rodríguez, of the RCN Castellón, with Martina Mantovani of the RCN Valencia second and female winner, and also the Valencian Alvaro Suardiaz in third square. The Optimist C class has had Inés Larrosa, of the RCN Castellón, followed by the Dianense Salva Cogollos and with Mateo Colmenares, of the RCN Valencia, in third position.

In Laser 4.7 Isidro Codoñer was imposed on two first, followed by Marcos Altarriba and Nikola Georgiev, all of them from RCN Valencia. Also with two first places in the two tests held, the duo formed by José Luis Marín and Carlos Francois of the RCN Valencia, followed by Juanlu Granados and Martín Nespeira and Luis Pascual and Antonio Peñalvert in third place, ended at the head of the podium of Snipe. Arnau Fernández and Gabriela Corbalán were the champions in 420 and Carlos Altarriba in Laser Radial, while the Hobie 16, with only a disputed test, closed the race with a podium formed by José Luis Sanz and Jose Antonio del CN Culera, Marc Jovani and Marta Porta, also from CN Culera and Hector Sanz and Ana Tomás, from CN Basetes, in first, second and third square, respectively.

The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia celebrates this weekend the Trophy President of light and children's sailing, which will bring together more than 70 regatists during the two days of competition, which will take place tomorrow Saturday and Sunday February 17. The race will have the participation of the classes 420, Laser 4.7, Snipe, Hobie 16, Optimist and Class A, and will bring together athletes from the age of 8.

Precisely the younger regatists of the club, of the class Optimist C, will measure forces with rivals of other clubs of the Community, who have been especially invited to participate, with the aim of promoting competition among children's athletes.
