This year 2019 Spain and the world commemorate the V Centenary of the First Circumnavigation to the Globe, a three-year journey that saw the rounding of the Earth and allowed a new vision of the maps and the oceans necessary to understand the present world in which we live, having also its place of departure in the Zero Mile of the Earth, Seville.

Five hundred years later on June 25, the Mile 1, the Pier de las Delicias del Puerto de Sevilla, will be the stage of celebration of the first International Nautical Hall, in collaboration with the City Council and the Port of Seville.

This event will have a gross area of about 50,000 m2 and up to 10,000 m2 of floating sample, with exhibition and dry marine areas segmented in thematic areas according to the sectors that make up the wide world of nautical. Shipyards, charters, acasillage, fishing, sailing, engine, recreation,...... All will have their space. In addition the Cruise Terminal itself will host all kinds of activities such as exhibitions, workshops, presentations, conferences, nautical events,...

The Guadalquivir will be a witness and protagonist of all kinds of daily events for the enjoyment of all the attendees, both of exhibitors and visitors, from activities that will represent the commemoration of the 5th Centenary, the active presence of institutions such as the Navy and the Maritime Rescue by staging their work through rescue simulations, to competitions and nautical sports exhibitions.

The surface of the event also has all the facilities and logistics necessary to offer all the complementary services to the exhibitor and visitors. Areas of restoration, of rest, of teaching,... highlighting in this section the School of the Sea to inculcate to the little ones the enjoyment of the world of the nautical, and without ignoring the areas of leisure and entertainment that will allow the attendees to enjoy the space from the morning to the summer nights of Seville.

A perfect balance around the nautical world, in a city that has always been a sailor and in the only inland seaport of Spain, the Port of Seville, the historic capital of the world.
