185 palists from 16 countries in Lanzarote's Atlantic Ocean Surfski this weekend

In the water 185 participants from 16 countries, who will travel the coast of four municipalities of the island Haría, Teguise, Arrecife and Abias, including world and European champions, such as the canary Esteban Medina
The third edition of the Atlantic Ocean Surfski will be held next Saturday in the waters of Lanzarote... where the palists will palate in large part of the eastern coast of the island, which has unbeatable conditions of wind and waves for the celebration of this type of maritime competitions... the exit of the test will be located on the beach of La Garita (Arriteta), from where the palists will leave in order to reach the goal of the flyer on the beach of Las Cucharas (Costa Teguise), in which will remain out of the competition those participants who at this stage of time do not arrive at the Organization.
The next stage, 10 km, will take the palists from the beach of Las Cucharas to the lanzaroteña capital and it will be there where the palists who participate in the I Copa de Canarias are incorporated.
For their part, the youth, sub23, senior and veterans will participate in this stage, which will end in Playa Grande (Puerto del Carmen), the place where the closing ceremony will take place and the award of equal amounts for the male and female categories.
The Atlantic Ocean Surfski will meet some of the world's best palists in the speciality of sea kayak, including the South African Sean Rice (winner of the first edition of the test), as well as the Spanish Esteban Medina (the current canary champion of Europe) and the Asturian Walter Bouzan.
In the female category, great figures of this discipline will compete, such as the current South African champion Hayley Nixon, the current French champion Angie Le Roux, the current Spanish sub-champion Judith Verges or the third best European palist, Amaia Osaba.
The Atlantic Ocean Surfski is organized by the Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo, the Higher Council of Sports, the International Federation of Piragüismo, the Canary Federation of Piragüismo, the Club of Piragüismo Marlines de Lanzarote, the Government of the Canary Islands, PROMOTUR Tourism of the Canary Islands, dependent on the Council of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands; the Cabildo of Lanzarote, the Island Service of Sports, Tourism Lanzarote, the City of Arrecife, the City of Arrecife, the City of Tías, the City of Teguise and the City of Teguise.
