Repsol de Vela Trophy: all in the air in Vigo in the absence of the fifth act

The fifth and final test will allow you to go to the discard and you can turn the classifications... or not.
As expected, the "reverse race," second in the Winter Open - Repsol Trophy test program organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, worked and injected more emotion if it fits the final day of April 6.
"Qtalto Consultores" (Javier Rey and Francisco Javier Rey, MRCY Baiona) in Solitaries and A Dos and "Deep Blue 2.0" (Vicente Cid, RCN Vigo) send in the provisional general after their second place in a day with the wind of 310 and 9 knots that especially penalized the "Oils Abril" of the Pérez Canal brothers.
With a coastal tour of 13.4 miles and exits in reverse order according to the ship's certificate, the "Balea Dous" (Luis María Pérez, RCN Rodeira), very discreet in the previous races, took the first place, followed by an excellent "Deep Blue 2.0" and the "Bon 3" (Víctor Carrión, Vertigo Sailing Club), the two ships that have not left the podium in the four tests held. First 44.7 oil had to settle for a seventh place, strange for a crew used to be first...
The general is for the "Deep Blue" (2-3-1-2, 8 points), with the "Bon 3" on the stalk (series 3-1-3-3, 10) and the "April Oils" in third place (1-2-4-7, 14 points). In Solitaries and A Two the "Salaño dos" (Jacobo Vecino and Brenda Maure, RCN Vigo) took a blow and scored his third partial, second consecutive win, but the "Qtalto Consultores" (Francisco Javier Rey and Jorge Justo, MRCY Baiona) was again second and maintained the first position. With four disputed evidence, he adds 7 points to the 11 of his direct rival... who is still penalized for his absence on the second day. The third of the day was another unit of Mount Real, the "Alalunga" (Rodrigo Rodríguez and César Torné) although in the general close the podium the "Encore (Guillermo Hompanera and Antonio Campelo, Liceo de Bouzas), with 18 points.
23 / 02 / 2019: For "Deep Blue 2.0" and "Salaño Two" the third act of the Repsol Trophy in Vigo
"Deep Blue 2.0" patrolled by Vicente Cid and "Salaño dos" by Jacobo Vecino and Brenda Maure, both of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo defeated in the two main categories of the Repsol Trophy held in the Ria de Vigo, in what was referred to in his third act, which had a great protagonist: the manifest lack of wind.
Thus, the fleet, which surrounded the 20 units and lived a double exit (first the Cruises and then the Solitaries and A Two), had in the "Oils Abril" (Pérez Canal brothers) the ship faster after completing the distance in 55 minutes and 10 seconds. However, the First 44.7 was defeated in the corrected time: with so little distance, the little more than five minutes of difference that he made to the Deep Blue 2.0 was insufficient and Cid, third in real time, went up to the first place in compensation. Partial victory and jump to the lead in Cruises thanks to its 2-3-1 series (6 points). The oil ship, fourth in the general of the day, adds 7 points in the global classification (1-2-4) against the same number of points of the third, "Bon III" (Víctor Carrión, Vertigo Sailing), which has signed three podium Saturdays (3-1-3). Maximum emotion for the next day.
In Solitaries and A Two, the "Salaño Dos" (Jacobo Vecino and Brenda Maure, RCN Vigo) won the race (exit from the middle of the river to Rodeira, return to Guixar and return to the height of the Nautico) in both corrected and real. He spent 61 minutes and 26 seconds, followed by the "Qtalto Consultores" (Francisco Javier Rey and Jorge Justo, MRCY Baiona) and the "Smaku" (Alfonso Rodríguez, Liceo Marítimo de Bouzas). King maintains the lead (2-1-2, 5 points) while Neighbor (1-8-1) leads the lyceist Rodríguez (4-2-5).
27 / 01 / 2019: "Oils April" and "Salaño Two" send in the Repsol in viguese waters after the first act

On February 9 and 23, this traditional championship will return, sponsored by Repsol and organized by the Nautical
"Oils Abril" by Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal and the "Salaño dos" by Jacobo Vecino are the first leaders of the Winter Open - Repsol Trophy, following the inaugural race held on Saturday under the organization of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo.
Although the weather prediction pointed to an unwindy day, the fleet finally competed from Tofiño, with a tour of 9.80 nautical miles for the ORC Cruises and three miles less for the Solitaries and A Two. Winds from 6 to 12 knots of 240 or 310, according to the sections, allowed the celebration of the first day - the previous two weeks ago, it was cancelled and not computed -, with real-time triumph for the oil ship, which invested 1: 41.42 against 1: 53.44 of the "Bon III" (Víctor Carrión, CN Punta Lagoa) and 1: 57.46 of the "Deep Blue 2.0" (Vicente Cid, RCN Vigo), finally second in general in time corrected.
With 20 ships registered at the event, in Solitaries and A Two the triumph was for "Salaño Two," one of the winners of 2018. The Sun Fast 36 of James Neighbor and Brenda Maure crossed the line of arrival in 1: 20.17. Enough. The "QTalento Consultores" (Javier Rey and Jorge Justo, MRCY Baiona) signed a second place with 1: 26.44.
