Next weekend, Baiona returns to the Winter League of Mount Real Club of Yates, with which the class J80 of Galicia opens the 2019 race calendar. The competition, which is held thanks to AXA's support, will be held over six days between January and April... the last day will be on the 6th.
In the previous edition of the Winter League of J80, the Miudo was the winner, a Portuguese sailboat of the We Do Sailing club in which the Francisca Barros and Afonso Leite, the younger patterns of the competition, were alternated... on this occasion, the Miudo will be led by the good Portuguese regatist of 420 Marta Ramada.
The Portuguese will have to be measured with large patterns of the Galician candle such as Javier de la Gandara or Miguel Lago, who will lead the crews of the Okofen and the Virazto; and the usual of the competition of the Monte Real such as the Asturian Juan Luis Tuero on board the New Moon, Luis de Mira leading the Namasté, Bernardo Macedo in the Mondo or Javier Martínez Valente in the Cunichán.
