The 18th edition of the 300 Milas A3 Moraira Trofeo Grefusa closes and does so with a major change in the final classification and which initially established that the Barcelona Item as the first classified followed by the Clem Primer and occupying the third square was the Valencian Brujo.

After the arrival of the last two boats on the evening of Friday and after the review of results, after the press release, the final general of the 300 Miles A3 Moraira Trofeo Grefusa 2019 took an important turn as the Clem Primer (Club de Mar) with the triplet formed by Jaime Olazabal, Pedro Amengual and Pachi Rivero were made with the first square, taking the prestigious trophy and the first in cash of 3,000 euros.

The second position and prize of 2,000 euros, which also suffered a change, was for the Valencian Brujo (RCN Valencia) of Alberto de Castro, counting on his crew Axel Rodger and José L. Marín. It should be noted that the Swan 45 Witch took the trophy to the fastest boat in real time. Inteman (RCM Barcelona), with Daniel Martín, Didac Costa and Edgar Salo, closed the final podium, taking the trophy and the 1,000 euros to Barcelona. Pajuelin, Despelote and Swany completed the general classification after having 19 ships on the starting line.

25 / 01 / 2019: "Inteman," "Clem" and "Witch" dominate in the 300 Milas A3 Moraira-Grefusa Trophy

La duras condiciones meteorológicas en la noche del 23 al 24, con un frente de componente NW y rachas que llegaron a superar los 35, causaron verdaderos problemas entre la flota con varias roturas de material, provocando la retirada escalonada de algunos barcos

The harsh weather conditions on the night of 23 to 24, with a front of NW component and rachas that reached over 35, caused real problems between the fleet with several breakages of material, causing the gradual withdrawal of some ships

The eighteenth edition of the 300 Miles A3 Moraira Trofeo Grefusa has come to an end. Once again, Moraira's quote, the hardness of the race has marked a before and a later one, being also faithful to those two ends that characterize the race, with zero wind in some editions and in others too much wind, as in the present.

The first section of the race the fleet completed it quite quickly and well, without problems, sailing 'the big' quite grouped to the island of Tenca, a step that took it the fleet about 19.15 on Wednesday 23 but from there, to the island Grosa in the Region of Murcia and already entered the night the hard front that entered, with wind of component NW (Northwest) that came to exceed 35 knots of intensity, began the bleeding of breakages and abandons. After the last stretch the fleet already sailed with better wind conditions, but the fleet was already reduced to 6 ships, of the 19 that took the exit last Wednesday.

The Swan 45 Brujo (RCN Valencia), of the Valencian Alberto de Castro, was the first to take the line of arrival, making it at 6.39 hours this Friday, employed a total of 42,39.24 hours to complete the 280 miles of tour. The second, in real time, has been the Clem Primer, of the Club de Mar Palma, with 17 minutes difference over the Valencian, marking a time of 42: 56: 06 hours, while for the arrival of the third has had to wait until after 11: 00 in the morning

After obtaining the time-compensation Inteman (RCM Barcelona) of Daniel Martin has been made with the final triumph and, with this, it takes away the 3,000 euros. The second place is for Clem First, which is left with the 2,000 euros and the trophy, while Brujo takes the 1,000 euros when he gets the third place. From behind, and in the absence of two ships, the order in the general classification after these first three is for Pajuelín XIII Benidorm, Despelote and Swany, although the latter two can exchange their positions... as in the old times at the beginning of the last century, that were given cash prizes to the best in the cruise races.

The trophy delivery, in this edition, will take place next Sunday, after a lunch offered by the Moraira Nautical Club.

23 / 01 / 2019: Phonemovil, Aquarele, Alzira Moraira and Clem lead the 300 Miles A3 Moraira Trofeo Grefusa

The weather forecasts have greatly conditioned this edition of the 300 Milas A3 de Moraira, Trofeo Grefusa, in the age of majority, although the route through which the race committee has been decanted is expected to be hard. This is why, and following this morning's pattern meeting, the committee has set up a slightly shorter than usual tour, with 280 miles over the 300 planned.

After the departure in the vicinity of the nautical Moraira the fleet of 19 ships has put direct bow, without beacon of dismarking, to the islet of Portichol, step that after the closure of the press release the fleet has already overcome. Leaving this island by port, the fleet sails with clean wind and an average of 15 knots towards the island of Tocarca which is expected to pass around 8 a.m. the first time.

At night you will face the third step that will be located in the waters of the Region of Murcia, the island of Grosa, to face the last miles with a beacon located in the vicinity of Moraira, hence set a course again to 'Tembra' to return to that same beacon to take the islet of Benidorm and face the last stretch towards the arrival in Moraira.

The fleet's departure has taken place at 12: 00 with a wind of 14-15 knots on a 235th axis (SW-Southwest), reaching the point of more than 20 knots. Very grouped by the visor and without beacon of dismarking because the fleet has opened quickly, with a significant number of ships that have sailed those first meters very attached to the ground.

In the last hour of Wednesday... the Valencian Phonemovil, the Gandian Aquarele, the Palmesan Clem First and the local Alzira Moraira, the largest with a Swan 75, lead the fleet and subtract very little to reach the island of Tencarca. For the time being, the group of 19 ships that have taken the exit and almost all have already taken the training of Portichol.

The 300 Miles A3, Grefusa Trophy, from Moraira face a new edition in which he is of age. The three-crew race, organized by the Nautical Club of Moraira, is again presented as very complicated for the fleet that, in the absence of the official closure of registration, reaches the 25 ships.

The weather is very difficult for all of them, who tomorrow, Wednesday, 23 January, at 11.50 a.m., must face this 300-mile tour. A route to be marked at the pattern meeting will take place at the club tomorrow at 9 a.m. At the close of the press release, the race committee and test organizer are working to find the best option for the fleet.

Except for last minute changes the best ships in the Valencia Community, Murcia Region and Balearic Islands will be on the starting line. In the beginning, the current champion and defender of the title, the Valencian Pestañeo of Javier Moreno will be present, along with him will share 'space' with other units of the RNC Valencia, case of Phonemovil of José Ignacio Vicent or Burujo of Alberto de Castro. They are joined by other ships that already know what it is to win in Moraira, case of Pajuelin XIII Benidorm. There are also two important ships from the Region of Murcia that enter the quinquielas to be on the podium, case of the Cartageneros Fandango 300 by Javier Sabiote or El Carmen-Elite Sails by José Coello.

Once again, the nautical Moraira, gives design trophies to those who join the prizes in cash, with 3,000 euros for the winner in the joint general, 2,000 for the second and 1,000 for the third... there will also be a special trophy for the fastest boat to complete the 300 nautical miles of tour.

16 / 01 / 2019: New edition of the Greek Trophy A3 organized by the Nautical Club of Moraira

La regata de altura, que ya es todo un emblema en la Comunitat Valenciana, se disputará a partir del 23 de enero

The high race, which is already an emblem in the Valencia Community, will be held from January 23

The 300 Miles A3 of Moraira, Grefusa Trophy, are on the horizon. A new edition that comes with the incentive to fulfill its age of majority, which places the race organized by the Nautico Club of Moraira as one of the most relevant high races of the Comunitat Valenciana and also from outside. The hardness of this route, the particular weather on its date of celebration, its three only crew members on the ship, the well-maintained organization on land and in the water, as well as its cash prizes have made it unique, special and different for many regatists of the Region of Murcia, Catalonia, Balearic Islands, as well as those of the Community that have participated in these years and now return in this 2019 to meet in Moraira.

La regata fue presentada en Moraira

The race was presented in Moraira

The appointment Moraira will start on 23 January with the departure top scheduled for 11.50 a.m. The 300 nautical mile tour will be established at the pattern meeting itself, depending on the weather parts. A novelty that came three years ago in the face of the difficulties of the race committee to be able to launch the test in the face of the adverse weather parts that were taking place on its traditional journey. So now the committee is working on several routes depending on the expected weather.

The Organizing Committee hopes to have a fleet that can be between 25 and 30 ships, a figure that has worked in recent editions. At the moment the best have already confirmed their presence in Moraira, some of them has stepped on the podium case of the Valencians Brujo of Alberto de Castro, Cafés Granell, of Agustín Granell, Phonemovil of José Ignacio Vicent or the current champion: Pestañeo de Javier Moreno, in addition to the Benidorman Pajuelín XIII Benidorm of the Noriega brothers without forgetting the Blue Flag of Neus Poncell, among others.
