Maialen Chourraut begins preparation period in Australia, including training and participation in two ICF tests
The Olympic champion Maialen Chourraut today begins a period of preparation in Australia that will last until February 28 in Penrith, including training and participation in two international competitions of the International Federation of Piragüism, ICF for its initials in English.
The Olympic slalon-gold bimedalist in Rio 2016 and bronze in London 2012-, along with her coach Xabi Etxaniz, is taking part in Penrith in Australia, where she will take advantage of the international tests: Open Australia and Oceania Championship.
With the absence of the Basque palist, due to her stay in Australia, the rest of the national slalon team will hold a concentration from 20 to 26 January in the French city of Pau to prepare for the European 2019.
