Hurtigruten renews its flagship ship, the MS Fram between the new two great restaurants

Among the improvements, it is important to highlight its two restaurants, "Aune" and "Lindstrøm," in addition to the best distribution of rooms and suites for greater comfort for the guest.
The MS Fram, an exploration ship par excellence of Hurtigruten, will have a new look from 7 June 2020. Designed especially for the most extreme polar conditions and with a maximum capacity of 250 passengers, it will be completely renovated and will offer the most important technologies and capabilities for exploration. In addition to sailing the waters of Antarctica, you will also travel Iceland, the Northwest Passage as well as North, Central and South America.
It will have a renovated Science Center, exploration covers, two jacuzzis, a panoramic room, a fitness room and two restaurants: Aune and Lindstrøm, the new addition. It should be noted that its 127 rooms and suites will have a smarter distribution to gain in space and comfort, there will be neither sofa-bed nor bunk beds and the suites will be equipped with minibar.
In its renovation, Scandinavian materials such as granite, oak and birch will be used to create cabins and spaces with a relaxed and elegant environment, as well as technical renovations that will include the updating of their engines to the highest environmental standards.
* Aune Main Dining Restaurant
It is the main restaurant in which breakfast, lunches and dinners based on a Scandinavian identity are served, an authentic gastronomic experience where the guest will be able to enjoy the typical products of the areas that the ship travels and explore new flavors with a varied card.* Lindstrøm Fine Dining Restaurant
It is a high quality restaurant with strong roots in traditional Norwegian cuisine that contrasts with modern cuisine. Breakfast and dinner will be served free of charge for the guests of the suite and in the afternoon will be open to the public, in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. Its interior focuses on Norwegian art and design.
