The 17th edition of the Euromarina Optimist Torrevieja Trophy is on the horizon when it is about a month to start the race organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja, which will take place from 23 to 27 January and that it will again have the 'full sign', in addition to being the third punctuable test for the Optimist Excellence Cup 2018-2019. At the close of the registration, 365 regatists from 27 countries will be present at the meeting.

The Torrevieja race, in its desire to continue to grow and to be a reference in the races of the Optimist class, both internationally and nationally, in the present edition and as the main novelty is included in its sports program one more day of competition. Therefore, the real time for the 365 regatists will begin on Thursday 24 January with the departure top scheduled for 11 a.m., for the rest of the days and unless changes are planned at 10 a.m. The program sets up a maximum of 10 tests in the four days of competition.

To the countries of Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Lithuania, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Ukraine, Uruguay, in addition to Spain, countries such as Chile, France, Great Britain, Israel or Slovenia now join the meeting. With regard to the list of the 'National Regional Teams' (Link list) it is made up of 24 countries.

The activity in the Torreviejense club, within its program, will start on the January 22 day with the registration of participants. The following morning, an official training has been scheduled for 2 p.m. and in the afternoon, 19.00 coaches meeting. From that date until January 27, the regatists will try to complete these 10 scheduled tests. The trophy delivery ceremony is scheduled for the same afternoon, at the end of the day's tests.
