The Santaderino Pichu Torcida, one of the best Spanish patterns of the last decades, had to conform to bronze

He ended up in the waters of the Ria de Vigo, the Vigo Winter Series of J70 as regards the second of his series, with the Bosch Service Solutions Trophy in play... an event organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo and the Association of Owners of the Monotype Class J70 and that he had on the Viguese ship "Laguardia & Moreira" patrolled by the great Lucan pattern Gonzalo Araújo to the absolute winner.

The second series of the fashion monotype, the J70 was closed with conditions of strong wind... with 30 knots north-west and an important wave, which allowed the fleet to display all the potential of this monotype to about 20 knots.

With the successful globalists: "Noticia" and "Marnatura" newcomers from North America, from Boston City, it seemed that it would be difficult to compete with advantage to these two crews... but "Laguardia & Moreira" of the Real Nautical Club of Vigo, as in the last series, was imposed on the powerful rival fleet... Gonzalo Araújo came to Vigo and patronized this J70, following his successful participation in the RORC Trasatlantic Race, in which he achieved victory in this legendary transoceanic regatta.

The good santanderino cane "Pichu" Torcida and Luis Cabiedes in representation of the Real Club Marítimos de Santander were second fighting to the end with those of Gonzalo Araujo, who overtook them... the bronze was for the "Marnatura" with Luis Bugallo, one of the young cruise patterns, who had as an exception crew, the shipowner of the ship Enrique Freire.

"Patakin" by Luis Albert Solana of the Club de Mar de Palma de Mallorca had to be compensated by averaging his previous posts by his "volcada" coming in the second test to avoid the pneumatic of the referee, and therefore the penalty, having to conform to the fourth square... being the fifth for the "Red April" of Jorge Pérez Canal of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo. This is how the second act of this Vigo Winter Series of J70- Grand Bosch Service Solutions was classified:
